This summer i’ve been doing two things, coding and surfing. But I can only surf once a day and only when i’m a Cannon Beach, so usually I end up coding. Ever since the beginning of summer I have been using an online program called Codecademy, and taught myself how to code. In fact I just coded that link to the site, and made this whole post blue!

I wish to keep up this streak and carry it on to our trip. I have only three classes currently (Spanish, Math, and Language Arts), so I’m adding coding to the list. In order to do so, I’m using a wireless keyboard and my iPad mini. So I have been practicing with the iPad lately to get the hang of touch screen and a small interface. I’ve also downloaded some editor apps for Javascript and HTML on my iPad so I can practice coding. Stay tuned for the surfing part of my summer.
