Greek salad has been our family’s diet in the last 14 days, so we decided to show our experience with salad and put it into a competition. Every member of the family had been given a certain number of ingredients:

  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 8 olives
  • 15 caper leaves
  • 20 capers
  • Feta
  • 1/2 red onion

But this wasn’t to say that we had to make Greek salad, we just had to follow the ingredients and props that the whole family has access to.

Now this is we’re the competition comes in. we are going to show all our creations anonymously with an artist statement and you are going to decide which one wins!

Great post Otto & now I feel vindicated. My family in South Dakota a Greek Salad isn’t complete without a good slab of Velveeta. Since I do not see any orange cheese in your culinary masterpieces I must assume it is not a true Greek salad staple. xo

OK, but who do you think is the winner of this intense competition?

I was planning on discussing with Lexi in the morning. However, seven stole my heart. Four is Kenny’s vote (I speak for him). One looks delicious. Two is remarkable and reminds me of a great sushi restaurant. Five and six I am going to try and recreate tonight- LOVELY.

Three is my absolute favorite. Picasso on Atkins. What is not to love.

I have to vote for 2 as it is so creative. 3 is a brilliant rendition and would be my second choice.
