Airdrop Food

If you are looking to score some brownie points, then Project Equator has an unfinished task that is up for grabs for anyone who has a lot of free time. In this post we will list each one of our fantasy foods that we can’t get on this trip.  If anyone happens to own a helicopter, we would like you to airdrop down a crate filled with all these items. Don’t feel guilty if you don’t sign up for the task because I got to squeeze out a short easy blogpost.

QUESTION: What food do you wish could be airdropped?

Jones “Barbie gummies & licorice”
…This isn’t any surprise that Jones managed to find a type of food that started with the word Barbie!

Lisa “Oxford Creamery lobster roll”
…Obviously, we would all be fine if a helicopter dropped off a care package of just lobster rolls, but that would be way to obvious.

Tuck “S’mores”
…We’ve found that marshmallows are strictly an American food :)

Yummmm!

Otto “Reeses Puffs”
…At home I would begin and end the day with Reeses Puffs, 7 days a week.

Yve “Red velvet cupcakes with chocolate frosting”

….This was a very predictable decision for Yve, but if you were to airdrop the food, Yve would prefer to bake them herself.

Cliff “Fredericksburg Pie Company banana cream pie”
…It’s almost worth making a day trip to Fredericksburg, Texas just for the pie.

This is what the Pie Company looks like in case you are in Fredericksburg!

Wescott “Memeres blueberry pancakes with maple syrup from Zebs in NH”
…One word: Phenomenal.

What an interesting challenge. I think all are within reach minus the pie and lobster rolls. Funny that I too just sent for Lobster Rolls from Maine. I am very picky. Also with regards to Marshmallows, couldn’t you use Fluffer Nutter?

Hi Cari, we could use Fluffer Nutter, but we can’t find that either. Are you really coming to Yangshuo?

Hi Otto. I am booked. I have the Reeses, Marshmallows & Graham Crackers, & Aqua Fresh. Tell Yve I am not sure on the Red Velvet but I have a recipe. Tried on Barbie Treats but can’t find here either.

Come to Mattapoisett at the end of the trip and we can supply most of the wish list!

I’m on a mission to convince my mom and dad to make the last stop of the trip to be Mattapoisett.

Interesting that Fredricksberg made the list!!! Are you hinting that some food needs to make its way into our bags on our way to Bali???

The Reeses Puffs are top priority :)
