Ponies are beautiful. Ponies let people ride on them. There is a pony living next to our pool. The pony is black. The pony is a baby.

Hello, Jones – Can you find a carrot to feed the pony? He will eat it from your hand, but you must keep your hand very flat and outstretched with the carrot on top so he doesn’t nibble your fingers. I bet he will let you pet his nose gently too.

Hi Judith! We don’t have a carrot but we do have an apple! I am going to try and feed him!

Jones, you write as eloquently as your Mum and Dad! We miss the horses that used to amble by our house to Stevenson’s horse paddocks and your post reminds me of those rare moments.

    Hi Jones,
It’s JJ from the Mercer Island Saddle Club :) Peanut, Cody, TD, Harley, Tess, Bow and Tucker all say a big hello !! They are glad to hear there are Ponies where you are :)) Here’s a tip for feeding a pony/horse an apple: step on it and smash it :) then pick it up and feed it to the pony with a flat hand.
